Turkey Shoot

Every fall, the Churchville Lions Club holds a Turkey Shoot for area hunters and sportsmen to compete with others in target shooting. The best sharp shooter wins a turkey! At the last Turkey Shoot, the Churchville Lions show their appreciation to all the participants by feeding them turkey and french fries.

 

The 2011 Turkey Shoots were held on October 22nd and 29th, and November 5th, 12th and 19th. Shoots started at noon and are held at the Big M (drive-in) at 3035 Churchville Road, Churchville, MD. The October 29th shoot was canceled due to poor weather conditions.
